Natural duties of a Brahmana

samo damas tapah shaucam

ksantir arjavam eva ca

jnanam vijnanam astikyam

brahma-karma svabhava-jam

Translation: Subjugation of the mind and senses, enduring hardships for the discharge of one's sacred obligations, external and internal purity, forgiving the faults of the others, straightness of mind, senses and behaviour, belief in the Vedas and other scriptures, God and life after death etc., study and teaching of the Vedas and other scriptures and realization of the truth relating to God -- all these constitute the natural duties of a Brahmana.

East Godavari district లో జరిగిన విగ్రహాల ధ్వంసం గురించి కొంత మంది చాలా ఆవేదనవ్యక్తం చేస్తూ సోషల్ నెట్వర్కింగ్ సైట్లలో పోస్టులు పెడుతున్నారు. ఆ పోస్టులను సమర్ధిస్తూ, విధ్వంసాన్ని ఖండిస్తూ అనేక మంది చాంతాడంతపొడుగున కామెంట్లు కూడా పెడుతున్నారు.

 

 

వీరందరూ తెలుసుకోవలసినది ఒకటి ఉంది.
మనకి నచ్చని విగ్రహాల విధ్వంసంలో పాల్గొన్నా,

వాటి విధ్వంసం జరుగుతున్నప్పుడు గమ్మున ఊరుకున్నా,

బాగా జరిగింది అని సంతోషించినా,
ధ్వంసం చేసిన వారి ఆవేదన అలాంటిది అని సర్దిచెప్పడానికి చూసినా
మనం పూజించే విగ్రహాల విధ్వంసం కూడా మన కళ్ళతోనే చూడాల్సిన రోజు ఈవేళ కాకపొతే రేపైనా వస్తుంది అని.
B R Ambedkar విగ్రహాల విధ్వంసాన్ని ఖండిస్తూ,
Samaikhya వాదుల విధ్వంసకాండని సమర్ధించిన సోదర సోదరీమణులు, వారినిప్రోత్సహించే విస్తారకులు, వారికి మార్గనిర్దేసనం చేసే ప్రముఖులు, కార్యవాహలు,  ఇప్పటికైనా కళ్ళు తెరవాలని కోరుకుంటున్నాను.

Telangana saadinche దీక్ష పథాన్ని విడనాడ వద్దు అని అభ్యర్ధన.
